Local Liquor Control Commission

Responsibilities

The Local Liquor Control Commission assists the Liquor Control Commissioner (the Village President) in administering the Illinois Liquor Control Laws. Handles disciplinary hearings for liquor licensees, including the imposition of penalties, and oversees local liquor laws

Duties

Powers and duties include having the jurisdiction to impose suspension, revocation or fine on any licensee in violation of the Illinois Liquor Control Law, and to conduct disciplinary hearings.

Meetings

The Local Liquor Control Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm on the second floor of Village Hall, 20 S. Ardmore Avenue.
