Garden Village Commission

Responsibilities

The Garden Village Commission serves as an advisory body to the Village Board, dedicated to enhancing Villa Park’s identity as the “Garden Village.” The commission is responsible for promoting, improving, and preserving parks, green spaces, and environmentally sustainable practices across the community. It plays a pivotal role in ensuring public areas are attractive, accessible, and beneficial to the health, economy, and environment of Villa Park. This commission encourages forward-thinking strategies that use beautification and sustainability as tools for economic growth and community well-being.

The Garden Village Commission meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, on the second floor of Village Hall.
