Annual Independence Day Parade - Hosted by VFW Post 2801

Happy Independence Day! Join us on July 4 for our annual Independence Day Parade hosted by the Villa Park VFW Post 2801. The theme this year is "Stars, Stripes, and 250 Lights" as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America. The parade route is roughly 2 miles, and we'll step off at 10:00 am beginning at Park Blvd. and Summit Ave. before heading west on Park Blvd. to Harvard Ave., then it's south on Harvard Ave. to Madison St., then east on Madison to Summit, and finally north on Summit Ave. to Park Blvd. for dispersal.

Participant and Sponsorship Information 

Event sponsorship offers valuable marketing and promotional exposure to a targeted audience through a variety of channels. Each sponsorship level provides unique benefits to help showcase your business or organization to thousands of attendees, while supporting both VFW Post 2801 and the Village of Villa Park in continuing these cherished community traditions. Your entry is contingent upon the receipt of completed registration, along with your payment, dropped off or mailed to the Villa Park VFW Post 2801. The sponsorship deadline is Friday, May 1. Participation deadline is Monday, June 1.

Line up Information and Timing 

Parade groups are to arrive and begin lining up at 8:30 am. Staging takes place from 8:30 to 9:30 am. It is the responsibility of the main contact listed on your application to communicate information to your group about the lineup location and procedures. For the safety of everyone, vehicles will be prohibited from entering streets in and around the red outlined area shown below beginning at 8:00 am.
