Social Worker

As the social worker for the Villa Park Police Department, Ashley Patino provides crisis intervention, case management, crime victim services, short-term counseling, referrals, and support to individuals, families, and groups within the community. Ashley, who is bilingual, also serves on the crisis intervention team, collaborating with law enforcement officers to assist with mental health-related calls and other crises. As a professional counselor, she is dedicated to fostering wellness, resilience, and purpose in those she serves. Ashley is particularly experienced in supporting individuals facing trauma and domestic violence situations.

Ashley will be graduating with a master’s degree in social work from Aurora University in the summer of 2025 and holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology, law, and justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago. With her extensive education and experience, Ashley is eager to continue her work in supporting the Villa Park community.

Ashley joined our community through a partnership between Tri-Town YMCA, Northeast DuPage Family, and Youth Services, and the Villa Park Police Department, made possible by a grant from the DuPage Community Transformation Partnership, an initiative of the DuPage County Board and DuPage Foundation.
