Plan Review Time for Permits
The length of time to issue a permit depends on the scope of work and completeness of information provided.
Submitting a complete application will expedite the plan review process.
One Stop Shop
- Permits for more involved projects may require review and approval from Public Works / Engineering, the Fire Department, or the Health Department, in addition to Building and Zoning review. However, we will coordinate sending the information, and collecting the approvals from other departments.
- Applicants can check the status of their permit application by calling the department. All permits are tracked from day of submission, through the day it is issued.
- Permits are issued when approval is received from all reviewing departments, contractor information is complete, and fees are paid.
- The Permitting Division is committed to providing quick, and responsive service for permit approvals.
