Jan Fiola

Economic Development Director retires after years of service

The Village of Villa Park would like to thank Jan Fiola for over five years of service as our Director of Economic Development. In that time, she has helped establish and provide a strong start to countless businesses in Villa Park. To name just a few of her accomplishments, she demolished the old junkyard, worked to develop the Old Town Corridors and brought in businesses like More Brewing, Wash U and Wendy's.

She also planned and created the site yesvillapark.com to help attract tourism to our community and provide potential home buyers with information on what our town has to offer.

Like the rainbow fish, Jan spreads beauty wherever she goes and it was evident in her work with the village. Thank you for your help in making Villa Park a beautiful place to live and grow.

Spring Sweep

A Spring-Sweeping success!

Thank you to everyone for coming out to the first Spring Sweep recycling and shredding event! Our volunteers and village staff worked hard to keep the event moving along all day.

About 500 cars came through Home Ave. during the duration of the event. There were 972 gallons of paint, 4.7 tons of shredded documents, 27 gaylords of electronics and much more collected!

Storm Inlet

Please remember to help keep storm inlets clear of debris

The best way to help reduce street flooding during this rainy spring season is to help in clearing debris from your neighborhood storm inlets.

Village Staff regularly sweeps the streets and clears storm inlets, but with the amount and frequency of rain as of late, we ask for residents to help in keeping the storm inlets clear!
