To improve the condition of the roadway and utilities by means of reconstruction of the existing roadway and separation of the combined sewer system.

This project consists of pavement improvements on South Michigan Avenue from Central Boulevard to Kenilworth Avenue and the separation of the existing combined sewer main.

The Village’s pavement management program has determined that the condition of the street has deteriorated to the point that pavement reconstruction is needed. The sewer separation was identified by the CBBEL flood control study, and will help alleviate stormwater issues. This project is to be partially funded by voter approved bond proceeds.
