The Senior Concerns Commission makes recommendations to the Village Board to ensure and promote the well-being of the senior population of Villa Park.
Powers and duties include: investigating the needs and concerns of the seniors, analyze complaints, promulgate and effect a program of publicity and public education regarding seniors, consult with other agencies concerned with seniors, and develop action programs of benefit to seniors.
The six members of the Senior Concerns Commission meet at 6 p.m., on the first Monday of each month. Members meet on the second floor of Village Hall, 20 South Ardmore Avenue, and each member serves terms lasting three years.
